1.

Integrative Therapy

My therapeutic approach combines therapeutic techniques to meet your unique needs.

I draw on modalities including person-centred therapy, existential and gestalt therapies, and transational analysis to create the right approach for you.

2.

Neurodiversity

As a neurodivergent practitioner, I understand how therapy can sometimes look different for neurodivergent individuals. I can adapt my approach to your needs, providing tailored support to help you navigate daily life.

3.

Chronic Health Conditions

Chronic health conditions affect more than the obvious symptoms. The journey to diagnosis can be long and stressful, often bringing uncertainty, self-doubt, and questions about the future and what gives life meaning.

I can help you explore these challenges, while also supporting you with pacing and energy management, so you feel understood and supported.

4.

Self-Help Resources

Therapy is not always accessible for everyone. I am creating a library of therapy resources to help you practice self-care and engage in personal growth.

Therapy Sessions
What to Expect

I foster a calm and grounded environment where you can feel safe to express your thoughts and feelings.

I work both online and face to face in Durham City Centre, as well as offering walk and talk therapy sessions.

The rooms in which I practice are all calm and comfortable. I supply a range of fidget toys that you can use if it helps you in our sessions, and with some advance notice I can also supply other resources (e.g. low lighting, a weighted blanket, a light therapy box).

I am committed to avoiding surprises as far as possible when you begin your therapy. There is further information in these pages about what you can expect in your first session, and I can supply any relevant forms and contracts in advance.

If you need any information that you cannot find here, please let me know.
